Only reason I gave it 4/5 stars is because there are no ties to secure the comforter and it has buttons instead of a zipper.The pattern looks like it does in the photos. The material is not soft but that is fine because I needed something that could stand up to daily vacuuming (for dog hair removal). Not giving 5 stars because it's super annoying that there are no ties in the corners to ensure the duvet doesn't move around inside of the cover. I'm going to have to add my own ties if I want to continue using this. Also the buttons feel like they will need reinforcement while I have my sewing kit out so I wish I had gone with a zipper option. It was clear in the description that there are buttons rather than a zipper so that's my own fault. Overall would not recommend unless you are in love with the pattern and don't mind the other downfalls.It is sooo soft and comfortable. My cats who don’t jive together all hung out for extended periods because of how comfy it is. Well worth the price! It’s not super warm or heavy. It feels lightweight and breathable.The top is super soft and doesn’t snag with 3 crazy dogs. I’m not crazy about the material used at the bottom, it doesn’t match the shade of grey on the top and isn’t the softest but not a huge deal!Thought both the inner and outer layer of this duvet is cotton, unfortunately only the inner layer is cotton. It’s pretty for sure. The outer layer is rough. For this price, won’t get it again.Beautiful, well made duvet cover, and very nicely packaged.MATERIAL: I wouldn’t describe it as soft, specifically the solid navy material on the underside, but it’s not necessarily scratchy. If you’re looking for a very soft feel this may not be for you.PETS: I would not buy this if you have a pet that sleeps on the bed. Dog or cat claws will snag and pull the white stitching.OVERALL: Otherwise a very nice looking duvet and a great price.Packaged very well. The fabric is rich and beautiful and the floral design is lovely and unique. Surprisingly has some weight to it.Highly recommend if you're looking for a quality and affordable duvet set.
