The stitching that gathers the fabric was incomplete in several places, meaning I am going to have to hand-sew repair before I can use them on the bed. Three of the 5 rows require repair.I totally love these sheets. So soft and they don’t make you hot, they actually keep your body cool.We ordered blue sheets, and were sent green sheets, kind of disappointed but wife decided to keep them. They are very nice sheets.I ordered a full/queen size cover for my queen down comforter (usually I order a full-size cover to use, it really makes it look super fluffy and full). This cover is thicker than some I have. It's not sheer at all, and I absolutely love the pinch pleated design. I've machine washed and dried this several times and it just keeps getting softer with each wash! It has 4 corner ties, but I wouldn't mind if it had ties in the middle of the sides too. As of today, the price is $81, which is higher than I've paid for other duvet covers, but I feel this is higher quality also.We upgraded from a queen to a king size bed recently, and got this duvet cover for our duvet. I've been pretty happy with it so far. It feels soft and luxurious, and I love that it's 100% cotton (I've been only choosing bedding with natural fibers). I got the dark grey, and it's bit lighter than I expected, but I'm overall happy with the color.There are some loose threads here and there, but it otherwise feels and looks like it's decently made.Overall, I'm happy with it. It passes the soft and comfy test and looks nice!Top line:I really like this duvet cover, but I don't quite "love" it. I think it's worth the money, but there are definitely better duvet covers, however you'll pay more.Nitty Gritty:I FAR prefer cotton to microfiber for all my bedding products. In my experience, microfiber absorbs skin oils and just never seems to release them in the wash, so they quickly become stained with a kind of oil-slick look, and that was the first reason I went for this cover over similar King-Size covers in the $50-80 range. Cotton isn't quite as "soft" as microfiber, but I think it will last longer and still feel clean/fresh after a wash. Is it really 800 thread-count? I have no idea, but it does feel like decent quality cotton, and it's reasonably soft.My main complaint is that the duvet cover only has corner ties to secure the duvet. Both my duvets (one very light one for summer, one heavy one for winter) have loops to secure them at all 4 corners, plus a middle loop along the top and each side. I've had better duvet covers that also had ties or buttons in the centers along the top and bottom. I ended up just using safety pins in the seam to secure the duvet at the extra points which worked fine, but wasn't "ideal".The other thing I'm a little worried about is the pleats. I haven't had any problems yet, but they points where they're stitched don't seem very sturdy, so I'm worried those are going to rip or release and then lose some of the pleats - admittedly, this is speculation and fear, but it just doesn't "feel" sturdy.Finally, The color is well represented in the photo, I think. It MIGHT be just a touch lighter than the photo shows, but certainly close enough that it was well within my expectations considering variations in screen brightness, contrast, lighting, and differences in manufacturing lots.This duvet cover was easier to put on versus others that i have so that was nice. It also has more interior ties so the duvet stays in place better than some of the other covers I have. It did have a lot of loose or straggling threads that I had to take care of and the pleats can look a bit more like wrinkles instead of a purposeful design but overall I am happy with this. The pillowcases were a nice surprise as well.I was looking for a duvet cover for new down comforter I had purchased. I cam across this set by the Bluemoon Homes Store. It was available in a color I liked and was made of 800 count Egyptian cotton which I wanted my duvet to be constructed of, so I ordered it.The feel of the duvet cover is super soft…almost silk-like. And it has a nice sheen to it which gives it an elegant look even though there is not a lot of detailing on the cover. Aside from the top stitching, it’s very plain which I wanted.The duvet cover is well-constructed. The seams are double stitched, and closure is a full length zipper which I like. I always find that the snaps or Velcro always come undone. The fabric is soft and pliable but not thin by any means. But it is easy to snag. One of my cats got a claw caught in it the first night it was on my bed.Putting my down comforter in the duvet was easy. There are ties on the four corners and sides inside the duvet cover to make it easier…and it was. I was worried about having to fight with that.All in all, I’m very satisfied with my new duvet cover. It’s well-made and looks great. The material is a tad delicate when you have cats, but I’ll deal with it. I think you like this cover as much as I do.
