I've been searching for the perfect white linen duvet cover for years. This one is so beautiful. The detail is very high end and after one washing, it is very soft. I love that it has ties on the inside to keep the duvet in place. That said, I wish it had a few more ties instead of just one in each corner. A king sized duvet is pretty big. Adding ties to the sides as well as the center of the top and bottom would be a very nice addition. No big deal as I can add them on my own, and I will.One thing that you MUST know is that this duvet cover is much larger than a standard king-sized duvet. You need an over-sized duvet to work with this duvet cover. I ordered an over-sized duvet that measured 120" x 120" and it fits perfectly and gives the over-stuffed look like you see in the product photos.Even though the size isn't perfect, I would definitely buy this again, and I will for a different bed. Love it!Great quality with nice construction details like inner ties and well-placed buttons that don't show. The grey colour is neutral, not too blue, not too muddy. I have a brownish-grey headboard and this matches beautifully. And a nice surprise: it goes well with the Longhui Grey Cotton Knitted Throw Blanket draped at the foot of the bed - almost an exact colour match with just a textural contrast. It breathes better than my old cotton duvet cover so great for hot weather. Not sure I'd want to sleep directly on this linen and am not using the included shams as I prefer the feel of high thread-count and the crisp look of my white pillow cases between the grey headboard and duvet. Noteworthy: I also bought white just in case the grey was wrong and ended up returning the white. Although returns are supposed to be free for my address, there were no free options in my entire state so there was a ups shipping charge against my refund. When I asked about it, Amazon refunded the charge. So now I'm even happier!Beautiful linen duvet set. Seems like very high-quality. So far I washed it twice and holding up really well.Love the feel of the linen. Great fit for my king duvet. Buttons will not stay buttoned-so that’s my major complaint and flaw.I looked at lots of different linen duvet covers and ended up ordering this one and one other to compare. This one definitely felt higher quality and was much softer right out of the package. The embroidered edge also makes it look more finished than some of the other options on here. It washed and dried nicely without getting too wrinkled (it does have some wrinkling like all linen will) and fits our duvet insert well. Overall, I’m satisfied with the purchase.Hallelujah!! I am so thrilled to have finally found a duvet cover to fit my cal king perfectly on all sides. It's hard enough to find an affordable cal king in the first place. I have a deep, pillow top mattress, on top of a box springs (which is mostly covered by my bed frame) and I have a 3 inch memory foam topper so it's been impossible up until now to find something that wasn't several inches short on either side. If you have an exposed box springs it will likely show. If you have a platform/mattress only, it will definitely be oversized. The length from top to bottom does not fit entirely but I fold my sheet over the top of the duvet and after I toss my pillows on it's not noticable at all. NOW as for the texture and wash...I was pleasantly surprised how soft it was [for linen] upon taking it out of the package. I didn't find it stiff or scratchy at all and I'm a *very* tactile person with sensitive skin. After confirming the size fit my bed I tossed it in the wash and prayed nothing changed. For the wash I only used vinegar and it worked like a charm to make it even softer. DO THIS!! Baking soda is another useful method but I use vinegar for everything so it's what I had on hand. A quick Google for softening linen will give you various methods. For drying I used a lower setting and wool dryer balls. Perfection! Very minimal wrinkles (which I was delayed in removing from dryer), soft, no static and IT DID NOT SHRINK at all!! In my book it's an absolute win and already plan to buy additional colors. I'm hoping sheets are the same but I'm confused with sizing...that's besides the point for this post. I hope this helps someone. :)I’m sure this duvet cover and pillowcases are fineand we’ll liked. However, I was hoping for more of a linen look and feel, and these were smooth and very cotton looking.Just updated my bedding. All the items were purchased from Amazon and this duvet was the icing on the cake. Looks better than a $300 duvet that I was looking at in a designer store. Love!
